Hi magna people. I've purchased my 2nd magna. I'm trying to work out what mods would be benifical. 2.6L astron II, carby, 186,000km. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i had a 2litre astron sigma a few years back, the bottom end was balanced,had 40 thou o/size pistons, the block was decked, the flywheel lightened, it had a stock head,carb and exhaust manifold, the cam was a regrind from watson cams in sydney (stage 3) dunno the cam specs, i fitted a custom 2 inch exhaust and that was about it....it idled lumpy (just nice) not too lumpy, and man did that thing love the revs,cant remember what the redline was but i know i used to go over by 1000 revs all the time..... so theres some ideas, just remember if you start mucking around with cams, you may need to fit sigma rockers (adjustable)... good luck
