I have a 90' Elante. I want more power, nothing that blows everything away though. Just a nice street car to have a bit more fun in. I don't want some race machine.

What would be the best way of adding power to the car? I've thought about a turbo but I have no idea what type, the power & torque increases they give or the costs of them and the additional parts to the car you will need. Honestly I don't know ****. So if anyone can help me out on any of this, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sell what you have a move to a 93 model with a V6 in it is one way if your not after tonnes more power

If you want heaps of power then i guess a big turbo setup on what you already have could be the way to go

What sort of power does the V6 put out then?

120kw

OR if you can be bothered, do a DOHC transplant..

See here for more info http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13303&highlight=dohc

Hmm 120 KW... I was more heading to get at the 150 range (or there abouts). Any ideas on what I should do to get that?

I've heard a bit about the Mitsubishi TD05H-EVOIII 16G-7CM² turbo.... Can this be fitted to my car? What type of power would I have then? And what else would I need to do to the car?

Ohh and how much would it cost (as an estimate) lol

Yep I really have no idea.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Your car is a First Generation Magna so try posting in the First Gen section.
