I bought a second hand car 3 weeks ago. Its a 94 TR Magna V6. There is a problem when the engine isnt under alot of load, the car jolts as if its missing really badly. This morning i changed the spark plugs, and the problem seemed as though it had gone... smooth driving plus the taco started working (it hadn't been working gor the length of time that i had the car).
BUT:
I drove the car an hour later and the problem was back aswell as the taco not working again.
The problem has me stumped... it seems the taco and the 'joltiness' are the symtoms of the same problem. If anyone has any insight, can you let me know. thanks!

Hmmm... the Tacho part is interesting. Are there any radio suppressors fitted to the distributor? If so maybe its broken and causing interference. Could be a broken plug lead as well I suppose.
