i was just wonderin, a mate's dad works for mitsubishi and he bought a ralli magna engine for 900 from his work, brand new. He said that it would drop straight into a TJ magna with out and modifications what so eva. i am just wonderin if this is possible and if so would it work for a TE aswell. he offered to sell it to me and i am thinkin of it only if this is possible...thanks

well, seeing as a TE is pretty much the same as a TH(which came out in 3.5L aswell), then i would see no reason why you shouldn't buy the motor and drop it in ,

yeah im fairly sure it would bolt up without any mods needing to be done too. Just for the record tho.. how on earth did he get a BRAND NEW ralliart engine for only 900 buks?? off the back of a truck by the sounds of it.. ;)

lol...nah its not what ya think...he works for mitsubishi and he is a manager of some area and you know how the factory places are shutting down or what ever they get some big discounts off cars and other such things so he managed to pick one up but hey im not complain... :bowrofl:
