Hey anyone with an anti lift kit on their car?

If so, can you tell me what model it is and post some pics? If you can take some really high res pics and email them to me at killbilly1982@swiftdsl.com.au that'd be great.

I need all different angles, especially from TE/TF models.

Also if anyone can post exactly how these work, the theory behind them, what they do to reduce the lifting that'd be great. I've never seen one up close and thus haven't had a chance to inspect how they work.

These pics will be used to develop an anti lift kit for the TR/TS range which, if successful, I'll be able to take orders for.

Cheers

Well this should help with the theory:

I have one of these whiteline Anti Lift Castor kits on mine so if you need some photos I can make the car available sometime if you have some ramps, or better yet, a hoist we can use.

Meh, interesting you've got blue bushes.

Mine are the ordinary yellow bushes.

Is the only difference that the hole isn't in the centre?

I just replace these bushes and the hole is in the centre.

The blue bushes are the ones that will fit the TR/TS model V6 engines and the TE / TH model vehicles as the bush has a hard centre and is bolted on I beleive with a nut, where the yellow ones are a push on all polyurethane bush which isn't actually held on with a bolt cause it is pushed on over the shaft where the blue one slides by hand onto the shaft and is held on with a nut.

I am pretty certain thats how it goes can't remember 100% but 99% sure.

Yeah Dave, I went to my mate's dad's suspension joint on tuesday and we compared part numbers for bushes. Only one bush is common between the TR/TS and the TE. So we guess that means one side of the kit will bolt on and the other side will need to be modified.

I dont know if you'll get a chance to do that in your shop...but if you could that'd be awesome. If not, I'll be getting there myself in good time.
