Hey guys,
This has plagued my mind for so long i thought i'd finally ask on here if anyone knew the answer.
Let me just set the scene here, I'll fill my tank up, i drive and drive and drive etc. etc. Get down to 1/4 tank or whatever, fill her up full, and it's almost like i have an instant power boost, speeds up quicker, revs alot more freely, gear changes arn't felt at all, but then with nearly a full tank after leaving my car overnight it'll be back to normal again. Is it normal to be getting this little "boost" after refueling? I asked a mate and he reckons no, it could be something wrong with my fuel pump? or not enough fuel pressure?
Thanks guys :).

hmm very odd.. ive never heard of this before, but my guess would be fuel pump or some kind of pressure issue... hmmmmm

Also i should probably mention that my car doesn't fire up straight away anymore, it usually takes about 2-3 seconds of the starter motor doing it's thing before she starts up. It once did it straight away, could this also be related to a fuel pressure issue?

Hi TR-Envy
Sounds like you might have fuel starvation or vent problems - First try a new fuel cap or swap with another magna and see if the symptoms reverse. Compare the amount of "whoosh" you get when you open the cap. Next i'd be looking at the charcoal cannister -

The amount of "whoosh" i get usually depends on how low the fuel tank is, lower the fuel level the more of a "whoosh". Dunno if that's good or bad lol :P.

you have a heynes or similar, check pressure regulator, fuel pump, fuel filter...theres a few others...
