hey, i was lookin at my car on the weekend and found that in the drivers' side engine mount the rubber in the middle is cracked on both sides, like all the way through. was just wonderin if anyone knows how much this will cost to get fixed and how much i can drive the car with it like this. any help would be greatly appreciated. i have a TE. ta..

have a search this topic has been talked bout few times aswell as prices for the top right side engine mount.
its a common problem for the 3rd gens..
options are. u can get them on here (qld section) where u hand urs and and get sent a mount with a new inserted rubber.
or try ur luck with repco etc. i tryed this and found mitsu to be a lil cheaper believe it or not, but try ur luck there.
it cost $210 for a new mount (mitsu). as for fitting u can do that ur self only few bolts just use a jack for the motor. 5 mins
if possible dont leave it to long, crack makes the motor twist a bit under pressure (so i've heard) and could put alot of stress on the other mounts to the point of cracking them.

they send new one you send old one so they can re-use by putting new insert basicly.
reconditioned ones.. which i have.. no problems.. for around 130-140 :)
