i swear ive read a thread of someone putting a mivec in there car. with a manual box and possibly turbo?

Yeah mansolara did it in W.A and it pooned at the dyno day :) and I think Killbilly has done something similar but not sure exactly whats in his.

yeah but finding that engine is another stroy as to what i have heard ......

also .... i know a reason why australia does not get alot of the jap engines is because our petrol is not as clean as the jap fuel ..... this may be worth looking at 2........ not saying its a problem though

dont think its matter of clean... just that u need to run the higher octane fuel eg premium is like 97/8 average here... in japan there regular is more than that.

That engine is a great little engine but does require the use of an afteramrket computer to be fitted up to any vehicle especially if it is a manuel model vehicle

Once tuned no problems running on our fuels.

Pretty much bolts right in just requries smoe new wiring although you can use 90% of the origoal mitsubishi magna wiring which is how we did it when we installed it.

There is a wreckers in WA that can help you out if you want the engine they had 2 in there last time that i went in there and they were only asking about $4000 for the whole half cuz which includes... Well you know what comes in a half cut and i can't be bothered explaining :D they are in Malaga i think that it might be the same place that Mitsiman got his from???
