hi i recently bought a 3rd gen magna and wondering if any1 could give me there insight of there thought into getting my bonnet to have the raised center as the FORD XR8s have.. im wanting to do this in conjunction with a bodykit... ill do rims later..the car is a dark blue. a mate of mines friend said he be able to write MAGNA BOSS on the edges where it usually features the boss wording on the raised bonnet. If any1 could also do a photochop of any 99' model magna showing me what it would actually look like it would be a great help.

....... or at least a big @ss custom plennum / multiple throttle body intake assembly which sits excessively high above teh top of your east/west V6 donk.

Other than that - if you want to do it.....do it. but be prepared for most people to not understand....

You do realise what BOSS actually is? Its the engine.. Not as in your Boss at work.

why does he have to put a v8 in it or turn the engine about :nuts: . it just looks like lancer with evo kit or bonnet with rex scopes or lambo doors.

least it will flow good and would go real good with a kit with it, when its all done you'll get more credit then laughs. 80% wouldnt even think its a ford scope just be looking at the whole kit/car judging it

at the end of the day all things are started by one person and there on, are copied..

i seen a purple vy ss ute with this mod it looked fcking dumb chop the magna with a new front bar aswell might give u a better idea of what it will look like

it is a little bit to rice for me, and i wouldn't do that to my car. but a lot of the stuff this guy has done looks good.
But not really a fan of the wings on the side of the think. I like the yellow rims :D

Sounds like a great idea, while you are there get a big FORD sticker and slap that on your windscreen, add some GT stripes, and chuck on a FORD badge on the back...

Gotta agree there. Why buy/own a mitsu but try make it look like a Ford? Sell the magna and buy a ford if you like it that much. Yes a raised bonnet would look beefy but as mentioned elsewhere the lines don't match up, and in this scenario just looks wrong.

If you're willing to go to that much effort of chopping up a magna bonnet and falcon bonnet and getting everything grafted together properly, it'd probably be the same amount of effort to graft on something more custom with matching lines and less of a reputation.. because that's the other thing, EVERYONE knows the new falcon bonnets.. and you'll cop a LOT of flack from both sides of the fence.

But hey.. it's all about personal opinion and if you like it, do it :)
