Hows things,

Noticed on my car the radiator was pritty loose, this would be the reason for my recent vibration issues.

Bought a Soldering Iron, and Super Glue.

I'll try describe it as best I can....

At the front of the radiator, next to the cap along the end of the pipe, there is those 2 "mounts".

Radiator
+ ______Pipe&Cap______ + <-- + is the seals and where it gets support to stay up, its come undone. the metal parts have unjoined.

Would people suggest soldering this part back on? and will it hold?

Also add high power glue?

any ideas??

thanks in advance.

Ive got the same problem on my 2nd gen, not sure if its the cause of the vibrations but i can tell you that solder wont hold ****, you can spend a week soldering stuff but solder is very very very weak and isnt ment to hold stuff in place like your intending to use it for. It would break off within minutes, and i dont think glue would do much either.

Maybe get new mounts?

solder from a soldering iron ?? no chance in hell...

super glue ? also a no no..

something as important as yur cooling system u want it done properly, either buy yurself a 2nd hand radiator for around $40-$50 or get a new one in there a bit more expensive

how will buying a new radiator help the problem?
If you mean the rubber plug has perished then you simply need to go buy a new one. And how can you mean the metal join had come off? The top supports which hold the ruuber support plug is simply bolted into the front bar. if the metals loose then tighten the nuts.
