hi to everyone, im not sure if this is in the right section ,if not admin plz move it . (please keep in mind first time mitsi bits motor builder) ive got a 4g54 astron motor, the head went on it so i put a tn magna head (found out the hard way the inlet manifold, rocker cover etc. was different :-) ) i then found with a compression tester that this had dropped the psi down to about 150 . i was then told that using TR magna pistons it would raise the compression . can someone plz tell tell me if this will work any any idea by how much. also why did mitsis change stupid little things internally in the early signa engines it drives me crazy. cheers to all

also forgot to mention spent some time reading the informative posts on these threads and found that there are different types of tr pistons. :-( any idea what type would be best for the 4g54 motor thanks again

150 psi would be fine

thanks for reply but 150 psi is a little low isint? its all good if i wanted to wack a turbo or super on it but the car is used for general fun in the bush :-) therefore im after a carby feed high compression motor thats cheap and simple to mess around with

could someone please check there manual for a the size of flat top piston used in the tr magna also could i please have the compression ratio
