:stoopid:

costs us $60 - $70 for full tank in a TR, and if hes paying $34 for a full tank, he must be sitting on oil or something cause it aint that cheap no more!

Nah you didnt understand the Question..

'From the half way mark on the tank/gauge....'

from when the petrol gauge is on the half way mark inside the car does it cost ppl roughly $17 to get it to the top of the gauge (from half way)

???

When my indicator hits half way i've actually got 2/3's left, so 20 L @ 85c per L (not gonna happen lol) would get that much for $17.

Why are you measuring a liquid by price, when the price is not a fixed value???

but regardless of that it sounds like your fuel guage is abit outa wack... wouldnt worry bout it tho, aslong as you know when to fill up then its all good

my gauge is a bit like that, from half to full, it doesn't take much more. but it seems to stay around on the low end bearly moving.

and im not sure that my warning light works either. The gauge goes below the empty line without warning, started spirting and shuttering once after i slowed down fast so i got petrol at the next corner

I know mine doesn't work anymore, it did when i first bought the car, dunno why it doesn't work now. I mostly go off kms travelled compared to fuel guage position to see how many kms/litres i've got left.

fuel gagues are gnerally inaccurate, with the 64 litre tank i think it is 20 dollars worth makes it half way, but thats no way 32 litres, when i fill up with a full 64 litre tank the needle goes well above half way by 3-5mm. best way to judge your fuel is work out how many kays to a tank you get, so with 20 litres of fuel divide it by 1/3 and you can work out how many kays you should have before you run out. But the fuel gague is good for a indication.
