hey i was just out messing with my amps and sub and found that my sub has sucked tissues out of a tissue box that was sitting infront of the port into the sub box. Could the tissues have done any dammage to my sub?? like got wrapped around anything inside there??

that shows you have enough movement in your Sub.

Now your subs are dampened by 20% per tissue sucked
So if you lost a whole box say, then you should have very minimal volume

hahaha

Seriously though, nothing is going to happen

Doubtful that they'd cause any harm, but prob best not to have them in there.

Subs are supposed to burp not sneeze..
I would seek to getting the subs out of the enclosure ASAP..

Man this new flu going around is strong! Not only does everyone at my workplace have it, but now even car audio equipment is getting it! When will the madness end!?!?

If they get wrapped around pole vents etc it can cause the voicecoil to overheat and burn out. If the latter happens I suppose the heat could also ignite the tissues too?

well thats what i was worried about, the tissues are all tangled up around stuff in there and i cant be bothered taking apart the box so i think i will just leave them in there
