for best results you must do good preperation!! Do a search on the forum and see if you can find a do it yourself guide to painting interior bits, im pretty sure there is one somewhere on this forum...

Make sure you sand down the consoles really well before you start, and do the job properly. You have to do quite a number of coats and rub each coat down with some wet and dry sand paper before the next. I have never done it before personally, so i dont know exactly what to do, but hope that helps a little :P

if you want to retain the texture of some of the panels etc inside your car, use some K&H Wax and Grease Remover to clean the parts you want to paint and then prime them with a plastic primer (at least 2 coats) before you paint it with your choice of colour(s) (minimum 4 coats). last but not least grab yourself a can of K&H Clear Coat and give the parts a good going over with that (2 coats NOTE: the more coats of clear you use the "deeper" the the gloss on the colour will be.)

if you stick with the K&H stuff described you will then be able to polish the parts to a gloss that best suits you. and it will also be nice and easy to take care of.

please note: i am not an employee of K&H. I've had experience using this product and i like it!!!

cheers
