Hey just wondering, what's your opinion on the best mod that can be done to a 3.0L TR magna for the best improvement in low down power and torque?? (esp torque). So far i've only put a K&N panel filter in, and I'm wondering what I should save for next.

MUFFLER...
thats the next best thing...
U REALLY NEED IT!!
its mostly for mid and high end but sertnly HUGE diifference...
i cant remember if it improved the low end
...

once ya done all that u can get extracktors!!
and then get ya self a haltek!

Muffler would be the cheapest and yield the most results.

How far do you want to go? Extractors and 2.5" cat back exhaust will only help mid-high end. Unfortunately most mods do.

The best way to make more low end is to stroke and bore the motor out. Depends if you want to go that far.

Yep, muffler and extractors should be high priority on your list for more power.

Low down power at the expense of top end is boring and crap IMO.

But anyway, the camshafts from the Pajero might give a better bottom end. I don't know because I've never been interested in this.
I won't be surprised if an exhaust doesn't help bottom end power.

As for the K&N panel filter, did you know that your stock filter is identical to the one on the 300 HP Mitsubishi GTO?

I didn't mean more low down power at the expense of top end. But a little more bottom end would have been nice, if i didn't have to bore out the motor to do it....
o well, muffler and extractors were on the to do list, what's the better extractors, the pacemaker or the RPW set?? Which can give the best gains?? Thanks for your advice guys.

be careful going the rpw extractors for the 12V, if you get them ask for a money back guarentee if they don't install properly, i just had huge probs with mine so be careful, end result isn't too bad

Im am also looking at PACEMAKER extractors for $390 from online autos.

Are they easy to fit and is there noticable power gains?
