just wondering how the timing is set on these TP's

its a carby and its got 2 hoses going to the dizzy......should the timing be set with these disconected or with them in place or else...

the instructions printed on the decal in the engine bay is a little confusing.....

it mentions 5 deg and 13 degrees advance but which one is it...

the standard way to set the timing is with the vacum hoses disconected...if you bring the revs up the the hoses conected it automaticly advances the timing giving a false reading....some of the more flasher timing lights compensate for this automaticly
