was driving yesterday at lunch time, on my way to get some maccas...i changed to 3rd and suddenly errrrrrmmmmM!!!!!! huge slip of the clutch.....

happened2ce already 2 day....

so unluckly for me... my clutch is just bout gone, n now gonna av to get a new 1.

i thought clutch slip was more likely to occur in first as you are getting the whole car moving.

My clutch is totoally ****ed after sitting on a hill wating for the lights to turn green or at a stop sign. Its as if it regenerates itself and all is good again lol

It would start slipping, then after a few minutes its back to normal :confused:

I had to get a new clutch in mine too, wasn't cheap either, but i did get a brand new genuine mitsi part ( it was $1000 but i contacted the car yard i bought the car from and they said they'd pay half and talked the mitsi guys down to $800) but i also did something else stupid, i didn't let the clutch bed properly and started flogging it again too soon now it always slips when i change into 3rd when driving it hard

he can't possibly be using his clutch to stop from rolling back can he? that would be insane...
