Is currently being made for my X! Thank god after 2 weeks of saving this can finally happen. I decided to go the custom sealed box insted of ported, due to my indecisiveness and just wanting a balanced sound. I'll post pix of the install 2moro afternoon after work for you all, but for now you can see what it will be replacing.

Makes my roof sound very very brittle, when wired up to an Alpine MRV-T420.

Looking good, those new Alpine amps look much better.
Curious as to how the sub box is held down

I am not too keen on the locations of the Amp's Passengers Feet can be a hassle and kick the Cables out shorting out the amps...
But the Boot does look great..

Under the seat is fine; however, they're barely under the seat :)
I'd have to disagree...i like the look of the amps before those :P
Seriously though...are you going to leave those amps sitting there?? I'd give u about a month before either someone kicks out the cables, dents the amp chassis, gets clogged up with dust/mud/grass/dirt or is scratched to all buggery
Pleeease move them further into the bottom of the seat, probably even make a little wall to stop people kicking it from the back. Or even better, move them into the boot. Have them sit on either side of the sub

But how are they going to warm feet if you move them in and to the side?
Maybe put them on the seats and they can warm your butt whilst driving, be cool in winter.
Yeah you've spent alot of money on them so make sure that someone walking by your car doesn't see it, cos it's so going to get stolen if your not careful.
I know you want to show off and all, but it's better that you have an amp to show off then lose it to some punks at the car park/ a drunk make steping on them.

Sorry it seems to of caused some confusion, both seats are put as far forward as possible, thus allowing you all to see both amps fairly clearly. The amps are pushed as far forward as possible too. Also if anybody didnt notice the wiring is all on the opposite side, both amps mounted down very firmly so will not moved if accidently pushed/kicked while the feet are being warmed.
Out of curiousity, were are all your amps? In the boot on a nice piece of wood waiting to be stolen?

as aposed to under the seat where all criminals break into first
mate mine are in a custom enclosure which would take someone a good 10 mins to get out when they work out how to remove the sub box from the top and then they have to get the enclosure out of the boot which has to be on the exact right angle and then they have to get into it. But before all that i always have the boot safetly latch on meaning u need the key or have to break the boot lock.
Thats the dumbest statement iv heard

hahahah they have to pull my boot apart to get mine out would take the same time as yours to steal and mine are not sitting under the seats where the heater vent is to over heat them.

well, yeh, see thats the bad thing.
your amps are definatley somewhere in ur car, so if someone decides to break into ur car, they'll definately find it anyway. Mine are in my boot sitting on a piece of wood, under a glass panel ready to be stolen  It sorta makes u feel like ur robbing a jewelry store, coz u get to smash a piece of glass, and grab an item worth a few thousand dollars :bowrofl:
if someone was to break into ur car, looking to steal stereos, the chances of ur amps getting stolen if they were under ur seat or in the boot would be pretty much the same lol

I Have my amp mounted under the seat as well, i personally reckon it would be harder to get an amp from under a seat then in the bott because on my car you would have to remove the seat ( thus u may set off the srs airbag) and get it out before you can remove the amp. cause there is no way they are going to get to at lest two screws holding it in.
