You'll be lucky to find a new one now. There were 30 LS and 20 VRX AWD's at the begining of July, with no more being made. They were selling for 32~34 drive away for the LS. Got me the last sapphire blue one :)
Got me a brand new saphire blue pearlescent one as well for $50k inc GST.
You may be lucky. Talk to a dealer. There maybe a few sitting at the factory. I know for a fact that
there are none at the dealers (at least not in Adelaide).

nice colour the blue is well done

Yep, it goes from light blue (in the sun) to a deep purple in the dark. It was either that or the
grange in pearlescent but the grange one did not have a spoiler. The other one was sable. So
yeah, there were only 3 GTVi awds sitting in the factory a month ago.

I got somewhat excited when I spotted yours in the dealership - we had been trying to find one to test drive and had no luck - they had a Verada AWD, but never got back to us to take it for a run - they told me yours was being picked up that day. So..we are heading to Dandenong on Tuesday to pick up an 04 build fusion VRX AWD without ever having driven one  (took a TJ AWD for a test, and hired a FWD GTVi, we liked em both so we figure we should like the TW). I've never bought a car based only on reviews before..
I asked the Canberra dealer that day about available stock, and he came back later to say there was only a fusion with a sunroof left new, and the price was horrible!
Soo.. the question I have is.. do you like it???

You sure it's the same one, got mine in Queanbeyan. You must have been quick cause it was only at the dealers for 2 days and most of that time was in the workshop. Wouldn't have bought from a certain dealer in braddon who quoted book price on their demo, and said there were no more to be had.
Do I like it? Love it . I must admit I wouldn't have bought a FWD magna but jumped at the AWD. Handles well, goes well & traction's great.
Commodore S + rain =
AWD + Rain = :bowrofl: :bowrofl:
Only issues have been the rear demister only half works (rear window gets changed next week) and the shift from 1st to 2nd sucks. Had it reset at the 1500k service and seems better so far.

yeah saw this one at braddon -
Agreed - when I came back with the Melb quote, the salesman looked at me blankly - his was several thou' over it, but he didnt even try to keep the deal - s'funny, not like he would have been setting a precedent since there's no more, I would have thought a small profit was better than no profit?
Was considering QBN for the servicing- the people there seemed more pleasant than most -

How much did you end up paying for your 04 TW VRX AWD? I got mine with mods for $46k on road from Penrith Mitsubishi in Sydney. They had to ship it in from Melbourne for me, that was 6 weeks ago and there were only 12 VRX AWD left in Aus at that time that didnt have a hold on them. Trust me get it lowered, I had mine done 30mm at rear 50 mm front and you get rid of all the body roll they had, 18" rims do wonders as well, And finally the Supercharger gets installed a week on thursday along with the dual exhaust. All that for $46k on road and insured, no complaints here

32 and a bit on the road (i got it on a lease, so thatd be a bit over 35 in real munny)- considering what you've had done, i'd say yours was cheaper!
i'd love to at least lower, but new bub coming, gotta behave for a while

There was a 2002 TJ II AWD Magna that sold in Perth for only $15,000 at the auctions. Was in good nick too with only slightly above average kms....
