View Full Version : I was in supercheap auto today...
...and i was shopping for spark plugs. I picked up the associated book, i think it was the NGK one and looked up the TN magna. Anyways, according to this catalouge, the TM-P have 3.5L engines. I thought this was a typo so i looked up the blister pack, and it had 6 plugs in it.
So where are my extra 2 cylinders hiding? I mean i could undestand of it was listed as a 3.0L because of New Zealand, but damn!
Just annoying that i couldnt actually find the plugs i wanted and couldnt rely on what they said would fit the 2.6L astron. Had to go to Kmart for them.

Sure you looked up the right one? I used to work there and naturally, owning a magna, i looked at plugs, was ok for me...

I have never had problems buying plugs at SCA for the Magna, they come in a four pack and are marked for the car. Weird.

Yea, when I went into Supercheap the other day looking for TP suitable spark plugs, it read as being a 3.5L. I just assumed it was a typo and grabbed the NGK BP6ES 4 pack (i think) it recommended.
Has anyone actually tried out those really expensive spark plugs with the 4 contacts on them?
They came in a small cardboard case and were about $90.00+ or whatever for 4 spark plugs

there bosch super 4s, and there pretty good, yet there isnt a huge ammount to be gained over spark plugs though

For that price you would expect a bigger gain over the normal plugs lol. How much of a greater life span would they have?
