Hey guys its time for me to change all 6 plugs.
Im just having some thoughts on what spark plugs to get
option A - 6 Platinum plugs - $120 approx or less through a friend
option B - 3 normal and 3 Platinum approx - $75
option C- Bosch Super 4 plugs - $68
now im after something that has a good spark, and im wondering if there would be any benefit in getting the bosch super 4 plugs with 4 prongs on the top against a platinum plug.
And i dont mind having to replace the rear plugs sooner then then the recommended for the platinums as its a pretty easy job to remove teh intake manifold to get at the rear plugs, as i have done it before
Or any other brand type of spark plug.
Any help would be appreciated.

Go platnium for all 6, it so worth it, a/f ratios are so much better (it was on the dyno when I got them done) Bit more power (like 2 hp, so nothing really), but as I said, the burn ratio was better

thks for the replys guys.
Im still throwing up between platinum (or are they iridium) and the Bosch super 4s.
TUFF TR- having option 2 is stock, thats what mits recommends as the rear plugs to get to them u need to remove the intake manifold.
So has anyone actually bought or used the bosch 4s to make some comments about them.

Yes...Plugs cost like $4 each for the fronts and Average around 25-30.000k's and are easy to change so there is no mechanic needed..
The rears must be Platnium so they last longer and reduce the need to get a mechanic to change them...
So like $12 for my Front Plugs Versus $75 or more getting another set of platniums...
so 12 x4 = $48 for the same amount Of K's I will get out of a set of Platnuims
( Based on the Front Plugs lasting 25.000k's and the Platniums lasting 100.000k's)

Ive used super 4's in my previous ride and actually lost power on the dyno with them in
with 90,000k old plats it made 108hp, with super 4's it made 92hp. on the same dyno on the same day reran it with plats and got back the lost power, poor car did like 15 runs that day to get an average of the figures. 5 runs per set of plug just to make sure

Interesting thaks tfv630, looks like ill be getting the platinum ones then.
I was waiting for somone to show something more credible like some testing comparing the super 4s and the platinums, and with what you have said the platinums look like a good buy to get.

i went iridiums all round i cant understand why get 3 for the backand a different set of 3 for the front  its still just as easy to change the fronts no mater what you put in plus the better quality ones last longer than cheepos so no price difference at all
