I have a KE that keeps loosing the setting for the remote to open the doors. The remote is fairly new with a new battery. I program the remote to the car and it works fine for a few weeks then looses the setting and then no longer opens the doors again. It is fine if i re-program it again.

Any advice? Sounds more like a problem with the car and not the remote.

hmm... might be a fuse problem or a computer problem. unlikely electrical because even if you d/c the battery the security settings are still stored in memory.

check the battery to PCB on the remote, as it might have a bad join in there, i had with one of my remotes, fixed it by heating up the join and never had a prob again

Hey Had The Same Problem, Buy A New Remote The Old One Keeps Dropping Out The Codes Which Alot Of Remotes Do When They Have Been Dropped A Few Times

Got the same problem with my TH at the moment.I my case I do alot of short trips (work only 4mins away) and the battery is up to 4 years old.What happens after a while the battery is a bit low and when I start the car sometimes the drain must be too much and she loses the code.So now when it happens I wack the charger on and give it a boost.Car is on the charger now!!!

Will buy a new battery and make sure its all conected properley inside. This remote is only about 3 months old but who knows how long it had been sitting on the shelf at Mitsub for.
