has anyone actually sized these engines up? I own a TE and was keen to kick it to the kerb get sumfin different or a 3.5L

just wondering how different the engines are? mounts wise...if a strait bolt in itd b awesome!

I got quoted $2500 from a wreckers for engine/wiring/tip-tronic box

to my knowlege,

it should just bolt 'straight in' but ill need a second opition... you were saying 2500 for the whole new engine, plus a tiptronic gearbox!!!!

Yeah dude its a straight bolt in, i was under the impression that to do it cheaper the gearbox from the 3.0L is the same as the 3.5

I heard of a place that did 3.5 conversions for 3990 drive away.

GBM - i am sure u can swap your manual with a tiptronic with half the ppl on this forum!! haha - i have a manual and i reckon gimme a clutch any day of the week!! autos - bah - not for me!!
