Hey, i got a sports muffler on my TR today and its ok. the brand is Redback..not sure if its good but it sounds ok

Last time I saw red back mufflers brought up here, most people seemed to think they were pretty good.
Do you happen to have the redback part number for the muffler?

i recently had a bad experiance with redback! but the price should have been around $380 thats what i got quoted for anyway but redback sent the wrong parts so i got a custom made job for $420

Is that just for the muffler? Seems very expensive.

nah it only cost me $120 without the tip and my tip cost $50 from carline, i went in for a lukey and they said there just as good. umm not sure about the part number but i will see if i can look it up. P.S thats included the installation.

$420 that was for a whole exhaust 2.5 inch from the cat back not just muffler :D got a sweet S/S twin tip was $70

Is it me or has the tip already got signs of Scraping ??
I get my muffler tommorrow, I am not sure what Brand they are going to use.. So tommorrow I will find out..

on the topic r autotechnica??? ne good theres a 3 or 4" endpipe muffler wif a 2" inhole for 140bucks at the local repco. ne ideas?

You could buy it. Then a Muffler shop will charge $70-120 to fit it including brackets and rubbers if needed. These always need custom mounts made up. Cheaper to buy from the Muffler shop really. Price check them anyway.
