Is there a big difference in sound quality between a 45w X 4 and a 50W X 4 deck? In specific, Alpine receivers.

I have been dying to get my hands on an Alpine deck and I saw an Alpine 9826 going for $299. The dealer told me its on sale because its the old 2004/2005 model. It plays Mp3's and has the usual Alpine features in that range. This seems like a good price as they normally sell for around $480-$499. The only thing that turns me off is that its a 45W X 4 deck. The 9827 is the next model up and its a 50w X4. But the 9827 usually sellsp; for around $569 and I have not seen this on sale anywhere.

mate, i got my 9830 for $500 over a year ago when it was new range!

personally look for 9830 upwards, my mate has a 9831 i wish i had got that now but meh

as fr 45x4 the extra 5w doesnt really matter (its not RMS anyways), if u wanna get decent splits u would be better off amping them, if ur going stocko splits 45x4 will be plenty
