Hi eveyone,
just wondering on everyones experiences with having keys cut for their car. I only got one key when i bought my car so I thought I should get around to getting another key cut. So i go get one cut and it didn't even bloody work. It wouldn't turn in any of the locks.
Worst part is that it cost $13

That sucks!
I've never had a problem, I've only cut a few for my car and I cut them myself when I was working in a hardware store...so it was no problem...and free ;)

Go try a different keycutter guy.
Older Magnas are just simple double-edged keys, nothing too hard with cutting them.
The only time you might have trouble is if you're trying to copy a worn-out original
or a copy of a (dodgy/worn) copy.
Good keycutters will also 'guarantee' their work.
Park your car just outside and run out to test the key immediately.
If it don't work, get them to fix or recut until it does.
