Hey guys, anyone know the best way to reset a throttle position switch on a TJ Magna.
Had a new TB installed, and we've been playing with the TPS, but it just doesn't want to go as hard as it used to.

Any info would be great.

Put a 14mm spacer between the throttle lever and stop (I used a 10c piece).Then pull the plug of the TPS and connect a multi meter between two of the four pins on the TPS??(pin 2 and pin 1).Turn the TPS anti clockwise to get continuity? and turn it clockwise till continuity? drops off and then tighten up the TPS.All done, retrieve 10c piece

Correction do not use a 14mm spacer. Use a 1.4mm Spacer. If you use a 14mm spacer you induce a large flat spot into the settings caue it will beleive it is at idle for the next 13mm until you get off the closed idle switch.

Woops, typo.That why i use a 10c piece as its about right and the throttle spring pressure can hold it as it is hard to hold things in there without the weight of a set of feeler gauges pulling it away etc.,
