Hey guys need some advise as I wanna get a better set of suspension from the wreckers, just need to know if the newer magna's suspension would fit my old '93 TR Magna or not. Was checking out a set from a V6 executive (not too sure wat yr) and it looked ok to me. My suspension is making a watery spoogly sound when compressed so I dont think its got much life left in it anymore.

P.s. If i wanna change the engine from my 2.4L to a V6 would I need the trans as well ? Thinking of just getting the engine plus the cpu dunno what else i would need thanks for the advise all !!

No the newer magnas wont fit.

You're better off just going new.

A new set of KYB's arent that expensive and you get warranty and you know they're in good condition.

i'm with killbilly on this one just buy new suspension, buy used and you will be lucky to get 5000km out of it.
but to answer your question,
the front struts from a 3rd gen magna will fit a 2nd gen. the rears don't interchange.

To change from a 4cyl to a V6 is a lot more than just the engine and box, plus there is an engine mount in the body that has to be relocated and engineer certified.
