my old girl is looking... well... old. the paint is faded and blotchy (see pics).

the front end is good from where it was resprayed after my accident, but the rest looks pretty shitty.

what do you's reckon i do to make her look better other than a full respray (can't afford that yet)

A quick jam job on it will be cheaper. This is where they mask up all the windows, lights and other bits and do a quick respray on all the outside panels. Probably cost up to $1000 and take 1 or 2 days.

OR

You can hire a compressor and spray gun, buy the paint and masking tape/paper and DIY in a garage. Make sure you also use breathing masks when spraying. A few mates to help with the dreary, shit job of masking up will help a lot. :p

IF the paint has enough thickness left have it professionally buffed. They will use a high speed buffing machine with quality cut and polish. But if your paint isn't thick enough all you will have is shiny undercoat!

If you don't want to do the quick jam job (either yourself or paying for it) and your paint is too thin you'll either a) have to put up with it, or b) bite the bullet and have it resprayed.
