Are these clutches any good, PBR,

Mitshubishi dealer wanted to sell me a clutch kit for $650 for a standard one

for a daikin it was $850 installed,

but through a mates mate getting a pbr instlled for $450, that includes maching the fly wheel and new gearbox oil, it aint dodgy just good mates rate

so yeh are the PBR's any good ???

When you get your clutch done, talk to the dude there and ask about lightening your flywheel while it's out

lightened means trim down some metal at the back of the flywheel. with lighter flywheel, your engine will rev higher and faster.

for street use keep it between 0.7-0.9 kg, if more than that you might loose lotsa torque.

We use the diakin clutches at work if you want I can get you a trade price on it but I will need to know the details of the car like engine size and build date as they changed the kit for the 3.5 l after 3/1999. Give me the details and I will get a price for you on Monday.

Cheers
Paul

Correct me if I'm wrong, but mitsubishi uses PBR standard on its magna manuals, it just re badges and boxed them with mitsubishi genunine parts.

I pretty sure they do the same thing with brake pads, mitsu genunine pads = Bendix Pads
