there was a hissing then snapping noise coming from the front left wheel this mornin in my 97 TE. Thought a tyre had blown till the snapping sound. Dunno wat it is, but i reckon its got something to do with suspension, any ideas fellas?

not a cv joint is it??

Im not sure about the cv joint it could well be but have no idea...but no i have not as yet replaced the springs but thats what will b happenin very soon...

Are you still getting the noise? Because isnt the A/C near the left front wheel (i know mine is) and that gas is under pressure...

Haha, I had that happen to me, big hissing noise, a nut somehow came loose and I lost all my aircon gas, at first I thought a radiator hose because the fluid is green too.

No its not happening as bad as it was...it can really only be heard on certain occasions but i dont know...i will be checkin it out so yeah....
