I purchased the quokka today just to have a look through the car parts and accessaries section hoping to find something good
I rang up about a set of mags 16" Speedy Ravens (Gold in colour)
Went to have a look and they were pretty nice and had brand new tyres on them. How much did he want only $500!!!!!! I said okay, he had just purchased some new mags for his soarer that cost $3500 so he did not need these anymore.
I'll up load a picture of the mags, not mine though mine are more gold in colour
let me know what you think
Also there was a TH 3.5 motor and gear box in there for $1300 -don't know if this is a good price or not

Nice choice of rims & price :D
Although I'm keen to see them in the gold colour you mentioned & on your car :D
Just a side note, I believe the mighty haltech booya ( hehehe) has a set of 17" Speedy Ravens.

be cheaper for you to source a 3.5L manual magna and just swap the mods u got on ur car over to the new one.
When doing an engine swap first of all you're gonna need an engineers certificate which can be pricey. Plus no insurance company will touch ya.

Depends, if it's a direct bolt in there shouldn't be a need for an engineers certificate.
I think the states have different regulations though.

Actually insurance won't be a problem providing you stick to a motor that was a factory option, so either 3.0L or 3.5L isn't a problem. But it will depend ultimatly on the insurance company.
If your in WA my reccomendation would be HBF, they are brilliant.

theyre expensive!
HBF - 3rd party + fire & theft: annual $784
RAC - same as above: annual $540

I believe killbilly is right, The national road laws brought in a couple years ago should cover it, I believe because the car was brought out with that particular option you should be able to do the conversion and get a normal inspection afterwards providing it will fit in and suspension and brakes are also upgraded.
As the Verada had the 3.5, I am sure that most transprot depts will concider it close enough to a Magna to count.
It may be cheaper to get the other car, swap out your modded parts then sell the std remaining old one though in this case.
