noticed this today, it's always been there as far i can remember, but i only noticed today that i dont think it should be happening.
ok, so the cars auto, dont even bother with jokes of there's the problems :P
lets say im cruising at 60ks, and let go of the acc, and let it roll, the car will stay at 60, maybe decrease by 1k or 2, and the rpms drop about couplea hundred. what would happen then, is if i apply the accelerator, but not enough to increase the speed. the car would jerk, almost as if the diff is recieving feed again, or like flywheel spin up or something.
sounds odd, but if u have a manual, and do a gear change without a great deal of revs and feel the car jerk ahead a gear, thats kinda what im feeling.
i think its just my revs coz the car breaths easier to allow more revs. but the jerk isnt to good to feel.
anyone know?

yeah ive got the same sorta thing somtimes, i think its just to do with the way ive set up the throttle linkage. id check to make sure the accelerator pump works smoothly.

mine only does that when it thinks it needs to drop down a gear to get the rpm back upto speed,
which is easily solved by just putting my foot abit instead of just lightly touching it.
(only happens when the autobox is cold)
maybe something to do with the idle setup? I know when my ISC didnt work it would do that... Also it can be caused by injectors but dont think u have that problem lol

I had this problem on my carby, just got it serviced and the problem went away. Now I have a pretty god damn quick TP Carby, and smooth as hell to drive too.

hmm, i did notice abit of slack in my acc cable a while ago, i doubt its fixed itself recently, so i reckon thats the prob. stuffed around with my idle to recently, could be any number of things with an untuned carb and badly timed engine. oh well :P

my accel cable's slack overtime has been overcome by a cable tie in between the plastic and metal, i found two cable tie widths was too much, talk about bodgy i know. Not sure on the jerky accel tho. Havnt had/noticed myself.
