i was parked on a slight hill in rye yesterday went to go get lunch anyways
i applyed the hand brake and it felt like it wasnt doing anything for the first inch or two then started clicking and also made a noise somewhere down the back of the car ?????
i thought it would be ok till the next serivce which is in two weeks but now when i pull the hand brake up it makes a klank noise about half way up ! i can feel the noise when it does it ????? any ideas on what it is ? and the cost ??? :rant: :rant:

3rd gen? Yeah your handbrake has serious issues.

Cost? depends what's broken & who's fixing it. :doubt:


I generally don't bother with handbrake these days (squeal noise).

Just park in (Auto) "Park" or (Manual) 1st/Rev, car won't go anywhere.

yeah TE it was making a skealing noise when i slowed down to 40 ks
