Well my friend Just bought a 2000 Model Holden Rodeo LT Sport..
Nice looking 2.8 litre Turbo Diesel 4X4 but What a Car audio Nightmare..

It has no room for any audio in it other then a Head deck, to which I installed a Pioneer MP7450?? or something like that..

The doors have 4.5 inch woofers in them and they are shallow as the Cross brace for the door is right behind them.., there is no room for a Build out..

So I am going to ask the AMC Forum on how to get woofers into such a Tight space and still keep it all stock looking to reduce theft...

I am open to all Idea's as I do know there are some pretty talented people on here...

The Only Idea I can come up with is to use 5mm MDf and make a Speaker spacer to fit a 4 inch into the spot..

Against the law to use Headphones whilst Driving..

As for the Foot Well enclosures, Good Idea but The vehicle will be used for off road use and I don't think a set of speakers mounted that low would survive too long with Clay and Mudddy gumboots kicking them..

i guess modding a little, (maybe small spacers) and you could fit some nice 5" in there, and they would sound nice.... any where to mount stuff in the rear of the car?

oh, BTW, thanks Isuzu ;)

True that ... Thanks Izuzu..

Well the sub thing is now solved.

Clarion Make a 7 inch Amp and Sub Combo called the SRV 303, it was designed with Mini Truckers in mind so I suppose it will do the job..

5.25 inch speakers are out, they block the factory covers from going back on so it looks like I am stuck with 4 inchers..
It is just going to take a lot more planing.. I have 2-weeks to come up with some Idea;'s as that is when I have booked him in for me to finish the install..

RF and Fusion both make marine speakers :D Fusion even have amps and subs in there marine series, guy at work has the same problem in the jeep and forgot to mention them, are well lol

Hertz have those super shollow speakers and crossfire have those splits that dont have a magnet.

Pioneer Make a 12 inch Shallow mount for $299 it has only 8.3cm Depth so we will see if they will fit.. It is going to take alot of custom work , just to make it look stock, hardly seems worth the effort having glorious sound that no one will see..
