currently working on making a twin throttle body twin plenum mod for a GEN 1 any ideas how to do this and all suggestions greatly appreciated as its something that aint been done and i want to be first on the ground floor and hope to open up the way for better cheaper mods for us gen 1 owners

It's not possible with the standard ECU.

if you about to hack into a plenum off a 1st gen can you do me a fav and let me know if the current intake is 50mm or is it bigger im hoping for bigger

why is it not possible if done correctly without wiring in the second throttle body and making both butterflys joined by solid linkage both will open at the same time and vacuum hoses off second plenum not needed so where is problem please explain after you read so i may better understand where your point of view lies cause as i said before all information greatfully accepted

I think what magna is saying is the ecu gets it's air readings from a Mass air flow meter which is situated in the intake piping before the throttle butterfly. If you add a second butterfly and the engine is allowed un-metered air through the second butterfly then the ecu won't account for it, leaving you with a possibly dangerously lean mixture. Correct me if i'm wrong magna :)
