ok, my install manual was left at an ex-friends house, i installed it, but was living there at the time. i need to know the colors on a basic headunit,
aka, the one without sub out, etc. my model is a DEH-P3550MP

shops want money, online wants money and cant find anyone i know who has pioneer, any u guys help? ty
mainly wanna know left front and right front wire colors.

Most aftermarket headunits are pretty much the same in terms of colour.

hmmmm, i guess i could undo 1 at a time following that guide.
but my sony was different from my pioneer.

I've got a Pioneer DEH-P1Y HU, if this is gonna help let me know and I will post them up tomorrow.

my pioneer is this:

yellow = 12+constant (keeps the memory)
red = ACC
black = ground
blue/white = amp remote

for the speakers (the ones with the black stripe are "negative")
white + white/black = front left
grey + grey/black = front right
purple + purple/black = rear right
green + green/black = rear left

I've got that exact model sitting around at home, with the manual. I'm at uni at the moment, but I can post up the wiring diagram when i get home

so do, some dont... mine does... but my mates doesn't...

most aftermarket h/us have stickers on the back of them telling u what each wire is.

however, every headunit i've come across has the same colour wires
