if you were going to get a 2.5" exhaust ud may as well get the cat too to minimise any restrictions

but i put the hi flow on a stock 3.5L zorst and yeah cant say i felt anything really worth telling about

General concensus is that a high flow cat will make little to no difference in performance to a low to moderately modified car.

My theory is that removing as much restriction from the exhaust system as possible will help get the most out of other mods - so if you plan on more performance mods, and money isn't a big factor; it probably isn't a bad idea.

Personally I think a full exhaust upgrade is probably the best platform you can give yourself for future mods to the induction side of things.

The Cat On Left Is Standard The One On Right Is High Flow Thats All The Differance Is

according to your pic my tp had a highflow factory :) cat, now im runnin a hollowed out one not for long as i think its flowing to well messing with my o2 sensor that and it stinks like ****, i will either put a cat from a v6 commy into it as they are 2.25" or just put my legal cat back in

Um - i think you'll find that smell was all the toxic gasses that the material in the cat magically converts into slightly less toxic gasses.

lol it converts all thoes bad gases into carbon and water far as i know and without it you will lose too much back pressuer loose power
