I THOUGHT MY ****ING ****ING STUPID PIECE OF SHIT MAGNA COULDNT OF GOT ANY WORSE! !#@!

Piece of shit has slowed down even more on acceleration 2 days ago when I used unleaded fuel from the MOBILE petrol station. Might be petrol but dont think so since I most usually get petrol from budgetpetrol so dont think htats the case.

****ing takes me a so ****ing slow to accelerate, a stupid 4 cylinder would over do me and I cant image going at 80 and trying to take over someone :S

Problem started way back like few months ago, Notice engine got a bit of a louder noise (ticking/sticky nose from the gay looking lifter things i think u call it) then car seem to lost like 40% acceleration power... I didnt have money still dont to get get it check nor fixed..

and after few months.. 2 days ago im like down to like 70% lost in power.


Taking car in on monday to mitsubishi, hope they have good mecanics and not as shabby as there car builds.

Don't have money to fix it? and prob do not have money to maintain the car either.
Have you had reqular servicing and tuning?
Injector cleaning when req, fuel and air filters when req?
If not please do not knock the magna when there are obviously other factors involved in your car gong like crap. Other factors like the way it is maintained.
I understand that you may not have the $$ to service and maintain it but please understand any car that uses any form of technology to run it will not just keep going until you are ready or able to service it.

Why would you not take your car to mitsubishi when the problems first started?

If I had problems with my car with a lack of power I would be down to mitsu straight away asking for anwsers, not posting on a website complaining.
I've had my car off the road now for 5 weeks, but well, thats life, I ain't going to bitch about it, I know what the problem is and its getting fixed!

My mates car was running on 3 cylnders for a month before i Forced him to get it checked..... (maza 323 or 626 cant remember.. but its old) and now it runs... well on all four :P

I know you can get cheap services for like 100 bucks and discover what the problem is hey!!! cause i understand how it is to have a broken car repeatingly getting repaired all the time :P

But ive learnt my lesson... I dis'd mitsus and got my ass kicked :P
and discovered that my car was probably a one off thing for out of the 350+ members only a handful had complaints...

Financial problem, yes well been there done that, been very close to selling my magna on one occaion in the past two years becuase of that shit, but hey, thaqt happens in life and what can you really do. But I never came on here and bitched about my cars **** ups becuase I could not afford to fix them.

Things will look up if ya in money problems dude, but don't take them out on the car ya have not spent any money on to fix! Its a bit rude.

Ive done like what 7,000 km over its due service...Its all easy to say just take it to mitsubishi mechanics...

The mecanics will think your crazy unless they drive your car everyday to notice such a power lost but now since its more noitciable then I can go and tell them now.

I think its like $150 to have them look at it for an hour?.... I did say I was taking the car to get it check and fixed on tuesday.. whats the differnce between me having a winge now or after i get it fixed?

And for those who said i treat my car badly? wtf? yous dont even ****ing know me or the way I drive, dont make so much assumptions, I ****ing do the regular noobs maintaince every week and for the guy who said he wish the car blew up on me.. I have friends with other cars that havent even serviced it as much as my magna shows on the book. I had a friend and a distanced relative who have only service their cars like 2-3 times and does little oil changes etc and have never ran into problem like me.

The car was probably thrashed trashed and smashed before you bought it and the log books forged. It's not hard to fill in a log book and make it look good.

I have almost 270,000kms on the clock with 93 TR. And the only problem I have at the moment is from the extractors which is aftermarket and means that if I had the stock headers I'd have NO PROBLEMS WITH A 10 YEAR OLD FRIGGEN MAGNA!

Well for starters you yourself said in your first post you had a problem months ago that has been getting worse and no one has looked at it.
Why take it to Mitsu???? Surly there must be a few guys around your home state that would be willing to have a look at it for you to help out if you were not such a foul mouthed winger.
As killbilly said, if you donot like the car, do the car a favour and get rid of it.
All cars have things go wrong from time to time. As for the build, my ol TN did over 450000km on the orig engine. No ever a day of trouble.
ASH and others do drive thier cars very hard and they do not have the problems.
If you feel Mitsu is a rip off, which like all dealerships they are expensive, go somewhere else or better still buy something else so you do not have to hang around these forums swearing your head off and winging.
As for your car blowing up, i think that was wished so you will have someting to winge about or you will then sell it and buy something else.
Eitherway if you want to sit around here and bring this community down, find your little hole you came out of, get back in and come out once you have grown up a little.

so MITSUBISHI are the only company that can get bad eggs, on considering that a new magna is only like 40ish at the very most, there are a surpurb build quality. so considering that he paid over 240grand for those 2 vehicles and god duds, im sure id know which dud i rather have :x

Only thing I have to say is that most good, decent mechanics are happy to spend 5 mins discussing any potential problems with your car if it means the chance you will have work done with them. Hell it only costs about $30 for half an hour of my mech's time, plenty of time to diagnose most problems.

When I FIRST went there with my poor TN the shop owner took it for a test drive around the block for FREE! He told me what probs he could pick out and after he gave me approx. quotes I left. Okay I was back there a few weeks later and have been back there ever since (and brought a few customers his way too) so it was worth his time. :D

If you're broke and can't afford a mechanic to repair your car then start thinking about the old barter system. If your car get's fixed you'll mow the guys lawn every week for a month or something... or even ask if you can do the labour in the workshop with their supervision (it's happened before, but not likely now due to workcover and OH&S requirements).

My Toymotor is a good car, it's 1400 kays overdue for service and still going strong. :D Yes it's getting serviced as soon as this fortnights pay cheque clears... that and a new alternator & battery.

One thing Vinh you can do for your car is to check the fluids (oil, water, ATF etc) EVERY week and top up as necessary. Wash it once a week and keep it vacuumed out inside. This way you prevent problems from happening, or at least get early warnings of potential problems. ;)

My first post was telling you 2 things, cut the swearing and don't complain if you have not had the car fixed.
If you had fixed the car in the first place then got ripped off I would be fully behind you with out the swearing but you fiurst can not afford to fix it then go buy crap instead of fixing it first which was what this was about.

Piece of shit has slowed down even more on acceleration 2 days ago when I used unleaded fuel from the MOBILE petrol station. Might be petrol but dont think so since I most usually get petrol from budgetpetrol so dont think htats the case.

Problem started way back like few months ago, Notice engine got a bit of a louder noise (ticking/sticky nose from the gay looking lifter things i think u call it) then car seem to lost like 40% acceleration power... I didnt have money still dont to get get it check nor fixed..

and after few months.. 2 days ago im like down to like 70% lost in power.


Taking car in on monday to mitsubishi, hope they have good mecanics and not as shabby as there car builds.

There was rumour going around a few years back that most of the budget petrol places buy the petrol that the major campanies reject. It doesn't pass their quaility control, so the sell it off cheap to the budget places. It's supposed to be pretty dirty and crappy and they just add a lot of additives to it.

Vinh - I don't know you so I can only judge you by the behaviour I have seen on this site. Quite frankly it's pathetic. If you have a problem and want to vent, then go for it. This probably is not the best place to do it though. If you want help, then ask. I am from Croydon, the inner western suburbs of Sydney. If you or anyone else near by needs some help with their ride then I am more than willing to help you on my days off of work.

As for everyone else, I can't say that your reaction was unprevoked, but it was a bit over the top. If we aren't here to help each other then why are we here??
