just got a question, I heard about the K&n air filter that can be fitted to the magna i got a TJ VR-X is it worth doing and how many Kw can you gain with it

Age old argument, man. Some people reckon they can feel a gain, some reckon they've seen a gain on the dyno while other people are the opposite :confused:

You might gain 1-2kW or you might not, but you shouldn't lose anything.

For what it's worth I have one in mine.. well I did until tonight anyway :shifty:

quite a few guys are running them (some also have zorsts and extractors to go with it though)

i recon it's worth it just cos you don't have to replace it (even though ya gotta do the re-oil deal once in a blue moon)

then you have the choice, pod or pannel.

gains won't be massive but ppl generally comment that it makes the car rev more freely, once again, others say not.

all i can suggest is get one and give it a try

and if nothing else it will have a nice loud induction noise :>

Tell me something, you K&N owners.

When you do a service (wash & reoil), do you guys wait for the oil to go tacky
before reinstalling the filter into your car? Or just bung it in then away you go.

yea i say give it a try ... cost you $100 one go... better than getting the sh!tty paper ones from mitsu
