Cold Mornings alot..
Warm Afternoons around 9Volts should do it.. But it is the Amperage of the start that counts

Yeah i just upgraded my stereo and now containes a distro block with a digital readout(volts). I had been playing around with the stereo yesterday and didnt start it. I tryed starting in this morning, the readout showed 11.9 volts and it wouldnt start.

if the battery volts drop under 9 volts while cranking the computer has not got enough power to run in most cars

so i presume you jumped it ? if not how did u start it

if your serious about your car stereo add a secondry dry cell battery that charges up like the normal one but will only output to your stereo, make sure the battery for the stereo is a drycell then u can fully enclose it and hide it behind a false wall or somethign.

the car was in the carport so i could jump start it. I pulled it out and charged it. i want to get a dry cell battery(optima or odyssey) but run it in the stock position. The only problem with that is the cost.
