I have just got an Aerpro fused distro block with with a digital readout. How can i wire this up so it turns off when the car is turned off. At the moment to earth it i have a small wire going from the top right screw to a bolt on the back of the seat.

It should turn itself off... unless this has a separate power line for the display in which case just wire it up to an accessory lead.

They sense stable voltage for a certain period of time an assume the car is off.

if this is in ur boot... to test if it turns itself off, unplug the rear boot light and leave the boot open for a few minutes. Otherwise every time you open the boot it will sense the voltage change from the light.

i have the same unit in my car ... takes a coupla minutes but it does turn off
