Am I reading that right???
Special: $23990 seems really cheap, if it is then that is a whole lot of car for that money.

when you have tl magnas selling at 15k, 00/01 tj around 10-12k, it doesnt seems to be that cheap, its just the resale of magnas, very good for buyers keen to hang on for a couple of years

At 24k it would be worth spending 11k and get the sucker turboed.

i seriously wonder how the drivetrain will cope with the extra power... i heard that it was based on the evo 6 4wd system??
and are the TL AWDs still plagued by the 'wheel size' issue i.e. 16" max??

I have 17" with absolutely no worries and plenty of clearance. I think the drivetrain would be fine diffs are of evo RS which has at least 230kw(in reality) and many have 300kw+ the centre coupling would be fine. My only worry would be the actual auto but with the supercharged ones hauling around and no known faults then I assume with just a cooler everything would stick together. I would love to turbo mine but $$ and also I think I can get enough out of it NA and avoid the insurance issues. Also if auto breaks it would be a good time to put in an EVO 6 manual which can be found here: http://www.tweakit.net/shop/index.php?cPath=59_60_73

I was under the impression that you couldnt mate a manual to the currenty magna AWD's? Can anybody else either confirm or deny ths?
seems about right.
Those dealers gotta get rid of those cars pretty quickly or they wont have room for the 380.. Nor will they sell em. (the TL's that is)

Apparantely the rally team did this but didnt use it. Ask Slickth he was in contact wiht them as he bought a ralliart engine off them. Im pretty sure it requires a adaptor plate or something.
God that woodgrain is a ****ing disgrace

Hey all. It can be done. Alan Heaphy has an adapter with an evo 7 box that will mount to a 6G74. Give TMR a call and see if those guys can give you any tips and hits cos that is all I know and Alan is too busy for me to even catch him these days. But he knows his stuff and he says it can be done!
