A bit of an impulsive purchase but I'm pretty happy with the result. They are 18" RJR Blades for anyone interested. Next up is calliper painting :D Leaning towards red or blue, but I'm considering even silver or gold. Good thing about calliper painting is that you can always strip it back and change the colour if it doesn't look good :D

OMG def a bargain... since i got my rims a couple yrs back i have realised that the avg prices of rim and tyre packages have gone down a bit :doubt:

Awesome chop, Simon! So ya reckon slam it, paras and mesh the grill? Not sure about the excessive lowering as I'd like to keep it fairly drivable (Perhaps coilovers are an option!?!?). I've wanted paras for ages but the price has put me off a little, plus they are hard to come by. Been looking for an idea for the grill for a while now. That chop looks pretty good. Might go down to Supercheap and get some mesh to start experimenting with :D

dont bother with a TE/TF grill ive tried, to much work, but i do have a TH grill sitting in my garage i was going to use on my TF til i got te TJ, might still use it if a verada grill doesnt come up, if not i will sell the TH grill, pefect for modding

para's shmara's they look great but stock headlights look good on silver too, come acroos a cheap pair and snap them up if not stay with stockies doesnt really matter


ust get ur springs compreesed, not a huge diff u got a 60/40mm setup? front compressed another 10-20mm more and rear 30-40mm more from memory poko_pano said it was 80 a pair to get them compressed, just get the car even, grill will cost u not much just a TH grill, some bog and paint, paras will be 400+ (main price of it all but hell u can live without them)

mainly lowering will make the car look more pimp, wont affect ur drivng experience much, cept for big speed bumps :)

nah dont mesh the grill .......... i used to have it meshed.... then i had an altera style grille ... now i got the XI verada grill ... all i can say is .... GET THE VERADA GRILL!

i like it quite a lot, (very similar to UNDER8D!) but i honestly think the 1st thing that should change is the number plates... they seem to stand out a bit, just a tad out of place? some nice slim-line plates on the front would make a world of difference

yet another person with this style rim (same as BSA 291) cant blame ya though they look hot on magnas,

so that means My self, blake, broke, pornstar and u all have the same rims not to mention others too probably

The tyres are 235s (Maxxis 235/40ZR18 93W). Probably illegal as they stick outside the guards every so slightly but meh! The car is lowered on Kings Superlows at the front and Kings Lows on the rear.

Spoiler is probably the next thing to go. Gotta see how it is attached to the boot and if it will leave massive gaping holes when removed. As for the tail lights - I reckon silver is pretty much the only colour that sucessfully pulls off frosted tail lights so I think I'll keep them. I've grown rather fond of them :D

wouldnt worry bout them sticking out, but load rating is below so either way sticking in or out they are illegal :)
