I drive a Magna TP 1989 model with the following mods

2 inch cat back exhaust, wildcat extractors.
(stock flex and 1m of smaller pipe)
Uni filter that fits into standard air box (not rampod)
Good plugs, 8mm leads
Stock coil
Stock everything else
EFI
Serviced and well looked after all its life.

I was wondering how the F^#&$ it could have a fuel econemy of
13-14L/100km
Is there anything little that could be doing this?
Its still got a little bit of power, beats a mates VK that runs a 18.5
Timed unofficialy at 18.3 :?

Any help or tips would be very helpful.
Im also thinking of replacing the coil. Is there any real beefy coils i can get for it?

the astrons werent ever known for their fuel economy..
id guess thats around what we are getting from our 4cyl TS manual (stock).. maybe a little better but not much

we got i think 9.8 l / 100 on a trip to melbourne - so about 11-13 l /100 city cycle sounds about right..

how many km's do ya have ?
i had 300 000 on mine wen i had it and i had extracors exhaust filter and only got 400km out of a tank, 440km out of a tank if i was lucky
was an 88 elante 5 speed
could just be engine wear and not running efficiant like the combustion or something like that
