I've been doing Web Search's galore & searches on here of course.

My car often uses Premium Unleaded($1.30+) and Yesterday i decided to use Regular - Car started to Smoke up galore. I drove it around today and it was fine!!

any ideas?


Can anyone give me an explanation of what a BAD BATCH OF FUEL would do to my Magna TR '92. ? (The pump I used was out to the side - where not alot of people go to but I usually get high RON fuel not 92ish)

Anyone with a clear answer?

Yeah after it was smokey last night the car hasnt smoked up today...

Maybe you were accelerating too hard and you blew out a large quantity of unburnt petrol while the car was trying to spool.

Nah its front wheel drive and an auto, the only real way to do a burnout(front wheel spin) is in the wet. Which I wouldnt count as an burnout
