I assume you want them for off street show use right? I think Autobahn or anyone who sells that sort of thing have strobes that fit in place of the headlight globes. The proper strobe heads that the Police use require a 1" hole to be drilled in the reflector and are rather expensive. Beware that if you want them for the street, then you can only use amber, the white ones are a little touchy for the police, and should wire them to the hazard switch. DO NOT even think of useing blue and/or red strobes as the Police really come down on that sort of thing. Oh and if you do go for the proper ones, beprepared to have a spare set of lights if you sell the car, large holes in lights scare people.

The reflector I'm talking about is the silver bit you see when you look at the headlight. To fit the proper strobes, you have to remove the whole light from the car and carefully drill from the rear a 1" hole. For best results I've been told to drill as close to the normal light position as possible but not that the 2 globes touch, the strobe head is approx 20-30mm tall. Not really some thing you want to do for unless you REALLY need them. You then need to wire them to the strobe power supply, which you have to ensure you have the correct one for the amount of strobes you're running as running it with unused outlets will kill it. Alot of messing around and expense, can't remember the prices off hand but I remember a decent power supply is about US$200. I belive show strobes simply replace the normal globe.
But like I said, useing them on the street is technically illegal except for certain uses.
I know a few people who have legally fitted strobes to their car, most for show and another was investigating fitting some hidden amber strobes to his Pursuit ute. I also know a number of Police officers and equipment installers.

have you ever seen strobes in aus the only strobes ive ever seen in autobarn were big chunky ones for interiors. i saw a strobe power supply which had like different patterns etc. on car domain for $20 US but they wont ship to aus and bulbs were $20 US for two.

p.s. im not all that fussed about it being illegal i wouldn't really use it much on the street just to show off and be a dick lol.

I looked at getting strobes a few years ago when I was involved in motorsport offcialling.

we sell strobe globes and the strobe trigger thingie at jaycar...

dunno if itll work for you, but yeah... we also have a little strobe light that will do the same job, you cant control the speed. another option may be to pull apart a house alarm strobe light.. itll work the same.
