I've got a pair of their 'Super Tweeters' on my doors - they're great.

boxed or free air? what other variations could there be? it will always be in a box lol

say, submerged in water, or on fire are two other models u could seriously consider! All the cool SPL winning guys use the 'on fflames' models. its great. i was gonna get it at one stage, but i'm not cool enough to have my sub in flames.

but yeh, jaycar came out with a new range of products or something recently. it ain't terrribly expensive, so i think its definately worth checking out ;)

You're on crack eek... lol

I don't think you'll find that Jaycar stuff is great, but that they're great for the money you're spending.

I've personally tried there amps and well let me say they are excellent for what you pay. Have heard different jaycar speakers in cars and they are reasonable clear to my ears but really you need to listen for your self thats the best way

I've been looking long and hard at them. $45 / pr seems pretty reasonable. They also have these "Car Super Tweeter Bargain" for $5ea. Bet they're top quality

The Super tweeters do give your system that high end lift, they work well to turn factory woofers into splits or as a replacement when you roast the tweeter that belongs to your original splits.

Exactly - they're just wired in tandem with a pair of fairly plain VDO 2-way 6.5" in the doors - works a treat.
