ok so im not a big fan of spoilers, however wen i look at my car i think it goes well with it. (apart from everytime i look out the rear vision mirror and thats all i see. which has a good point, it keeps cars lights behind me out of my eyes) which we all know in a magna, more often than not the cars are eating your dust :P

Anyhoo my question to all of you expirienced magna freaks is, Will my car look better with or without the spoiler? im after ppls opinions....

ego doesnt have spoiler on he's black VRX and it loooks WAAYYY better.

Im gonna go against the grain and say it looks pretty nice with the VRX Spoiler...although.....without is also good....Confused? :bowrofl:

dont lose the spoiler.. i know i bought a VRX cause i love the kit.. well the spoiler is part of the kit.. lose the spoiler and you might as well of bought an exec... that and it'll look like a nugget

I think the spoiler on a VRX adds to the lines. Looks kinda funny without one.

Take it off.. looks way better without.. Take the flares off too.. Dont worry, some people arent insecure about what they drive and gunna thing that people are gunna think less of you cause they dont know what model magna you drive and they assume its an exec.. :D

And just so this post isn't completely pointless - I'm not a fan of the VRX spoiler, nor do I see the sense in a spoiler on a FWD car. I honestly think the lines of the VRX are greatly improved by decent lowering and de-winging. But at the end of the day it's up to you - and don't worry what other ppl think if you like it :cool: !!

yeah i agree with god above, lol they look better de winged, and yes your right spoilers are pretty stupid on most cars especially fwd's, they might increase rear downforce and stability at high speed in a straight line, but as soon as you slow down for a coner which is when you need stability and downforce to stop your rear end coming out, your gunna be going to slow for it to do anygood, especially on the roads, maybe if u take your car to the track, then it could possibly be worth while, if you wanna be crazy and get some serious downforce happening, make a full underbody diffuser and aero package, like they have on the enzo and f1 cars, that would give u some good traction, i think it works by creating a low pressure area by keeping the air underneath the car moving really fast and smoothly. the lower the air pressure under the car the more the high pressure air on top of the car can push the car downwards onto the road, obviously the faster you go the greater this downforce will be as there is even more difference in air pressure. this is pretty much how an aeroplane wing works, but in reverse obviously, the only downside to all this downforce is a reduced top speed.

In my view the whole removing/dewinging thing is a new trend people do on all cars, everyone seems to be doing it, from magnas to skylines, commodores, falcons, even little mazda323's, though most cars it happens with seems to have been sedans but then again, ive seen many a supra, and other coupes, even Monaro's that were optioned with a spoiler and now has been removed by the owner , just like putting a spoiler on everything was a trend a few years back
Anyway
In my view keep the spoiler

Hook it up james bond style so it pops up out the boot when you want it, and can go back inside when you dont. Like convertable car's roof's.

no wing. makes the car look narrow and tall with one.

But remember when you take it off, you will have ugly holes in your boot...
