Does anyone know if you can fit a DOHC head from the import motor to our 3.5's?

They're oriented the same way as a 2nd gen V6, and therefore I dont think the heads will bolt up.

I don't think japan has a dohc 6G74. They only have the DOHC 6G72 engines for both
east-west and west-east orientations (2nd and 3rd gens).

I have one in my garage :P lol for a FWD orientation. They're from the JDM Debonair

There is definately a 3.5 DOHC as a guy in NZ has put a Twin turbo 3.5 DOHC into his 2nd gen *drools*. silverBullet his nic is or something like that.

silver bullets was only out of a 3000GT i thought so would just be a 3.0Lt wouldnt it :nuts:

Just did a bit of research and your right, his was only the 3.0L, sorry about that :redface: . I'd heard people speak about a DOHC 3.5, is it myth or real lol?

There is definately a 3.5l DOHC engine in a FWD sedan in Japan from Mitsubishi.
